Bringing Abundant Life to Our Children


At Send Hope Now, caring for the basic needs of our children is just the beginning. Our top priority extends far beyond food, shelter, and education—as Guna, our ministry leader in India, beautifully puts it, we aim to "make them to be happy."


This mission flows directly from John 10:10, where Christ promises, "I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly!" We're committed to bringing that abundant life to every child in our care.


During our recent trip to India this past March, we witnessed this abundant life in action. Thanks to our generous friends at Selkirk, we were able to bring the children brand-new pickleball equipment for their brand-new court (thank you fiftytwo.four for the court!) in Odisha, India. Watching their faces light up as they learned this new sport was a beautiful reminder that joy and play are essential parts of the abundant life Christ promised.


This is what it means to care for the whole child—meeting not just their physical needs, but nurturing their spirits and filling their days with laughter, friendship, and the simple joy of being a kid.
