Meet Our Leadership

Drew came on board the Send Hope Now team in 2020 as Office Manager and became Executive Director in early 2021. He developed a passion for international missions while on a mission trip in 2005. Experiencing the conditions of a developing country gave him the desire to care for the poor, sick, and vulnerable around the world.

Drew is a native of Illinois and moved to Idaho with his wife and two children to step into his position at Send Hope Now. Prior to his work within the organization, Drew completed his Master of Divinity and Master of Pastoral Leadership from Olivet Nazarene University. Drew and his family are honored to be part of the ministry and the incredible work happening in India.

Gunasekaran or “Guna” is the Founder and Director of Calvary Chapel Trust (CCT), Send Hope Now’s ministry partner in India. Guna grew up an orphan and felt it was his calling to spend his life caring for orphans. He founded the ministry in 1989 in partnership with a small church in Idaho and planted a church of his own in Bangalore.

Guna began caring for orphans in 1993 when he welcomed four children into his small home. Then, while at a train station in 2005, he was approached by a dying, HIV-infected mother who asked him to take her newborn daughter. Now almost 20 years later, under Guna’s leadership, we have cared for thousands of sick and vulnerable children. Guna’s leadership over the last 30 years has continually empowered us to share Jesus with those most in need in India.
